Thank the Lord for 35 Mothers attending Gold Valley this past Sunday.

Our oldest mother was Doris Ray, who is a very special young mother who loves the Lord.

Our First Lady, Judy Dickerson, was given a tribute for her encouraging spirit and walk.

Three mothers attended service this past Sunday, who were first time mothers, each being presented with corsages.

One mother's name was drawn from a basket, and was presented a Women's Devotional Bible.

Hance Peyatt did a wonderful job directing the "Tribute to our Ladies".

Here we go again with a great expectancy of Revival on May 1 through 4, 2011.  Nic Jackson of Rockingham Church of God of Prophecy will be with us during these services.  Looking forward to His direction.

Gold Valley church was able to provide assistance in the wake of the tornado's that had hit NC in the past few days.  We traveled to Selma and Micro on Monday.  The pastor traveled to to Colerain on Tuesday meeting several families that had lost loved ones and their properties destroyed, we were able to pray and pass out drinks and supplies to the people. Went by Dunn Thursday with supplies and then to Fayetteville and then to Clinton (Bonnetsville) shared "hope" with families.  Traveled through Raleigh on Saturday and saw more damage.

Thank you God for HOPE!

The blessings of the Lord poured out on us this week.

Two young men rededicated their lives to the Lord on Tuesday
night.  Each evening we had visitors come in and join us for
worship.  Seed was planted, and we will see the results of the
planting if we care for the garden.  Thank you Evangelist
Sylvia Staten for the word.

What a great time at the Gold Valley Women Conference on Friday and Saturday, January 28 and 29, 2011.  We had a great congregation in the service and on the internet.  Viewers from Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, West Virginia, South Carolina,  and the Philippines joined us in the services.

We had an attendance of 203 for the services; one was reported to receive Jesus as their personal Savior; healings being confessed too and an awesome outpouring of the Holy Ghost.  Thank you Jesus for your love and outpouring.

Hey Sarah, wanting to let you know that we are missing you.  I trust the you are receiving a wonderful education but know that your family and friends are missing you greatly.  Enjoy traveling around Europe, and when you are ready to come home, "Come Home!"

Your pastor's (Jim and Judy) are missing you, too.  We are getting ready for Homecoming services as I type this short blog.

This week has been a very busy week at Gold Valley.  We had a workday on Saturday, October 2, trying to get ready for the Homecoming service.  We visited at the hospital everyday this week, either at Wake Med, Rex, Duke, NC Memorial or Pitt Memorial.  One person with family at the church received their promotion to heaven, Larry Bryant.  Larry is Terrie Murray's brother.

This morning we are excited about the Homecoming services.  We will be webcasting at 10:30am on www.goldvalley.org, watch the service and take part in the worship.

Yes, you read it right.  We will be at the Kunkel's home in Nashville, NC on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2010 at 7pm for a special prayer service.

Come and be with us.

Each Tuesday evening at 7pm, the local church is having home prayers services in different homes throughout Nash, Wilson and Franklin counties.  It is a very special time to enter into a home and there bow on our knees unto the Lord God Almighty and offer praise and adoration unto Him.

We then share our requests of prayer to the attendees, and pray again for the needs that have been mentioned.  Some of these needs are unspoken, but God knows the needs of His children.

Thank you to the youth of Gold Valley Church who led in the Worship Music for the Sunday morning service on September 26, 2010.  We had a special testimony from one of our youth, and then two of the youth presented a beautiful drama.

It was a very special time in the Lord.
