Exciting News at Gold ValleySo many things have been taking place at Gold Valley during the past six months.
God has showed up and showed off during services, in homes, on the streets, during the Prayer Walk in Spring Hope and Middlesex,
at the campground, it seems that God is doing a work, and we want to be ready for it.
Please review the Prayer
and Praise Reports to see the Good Things that God has done.

God Showed Up and Showed OffWow, can you believe it. We have had two doctor confirmed healings of HIV.
We have had over fifty people saved in the last twenty six weeks. We had a wonderful service yesterday and had
people slain in the spirit all over the floor. God showed up and showed off again and again. We are in the midst
of revival, and God is pouring His Spirit on all flesh. Can't wait and see what God does at the next service.

We are in the SanctuaryAfter three and a half months, we are back in the sanctuary. We have completed remodeling
the sanctuary which increased our occupancy. God has blessed Gold Valley in a mighty way. This past Sunday was
the first Sunday to worship God in this sanctuary and He breathed on us. A new family came to service Sunday morning,
and the adult male testified that as soon as he walked in, he felt the Holy Ghost moving on him.
We are
certainly excited about the "Women's Conference" taking place January 30th and 31st and then the revival with
Sylvia Staten.
Come and join us for a breath taking experience.

He showed up and showed off, again!Thank God for His presence being felt around Gold Valley. The Outreach Ministries have been active these past few months
with over forty two people accepting Jesus as their personal Savior, plus holding two block parties in an area that houses
drug addicts, homosexuals, lesbians, transvestites and alcoholics. God has opened an area where we can move in with
the love of God and share with these people the God's grace and mercy. We have been able to go into a Nursing
Home that takes care of Alzhimer's patients and we invite them to sing with us songs that they can remember, and it is
a blessing.
Next are coming to the finishing of the remodeling of the sanctuary which will increase the occupancy
to 200+, we have extened the stage area, install a state of the art audio and video system for worship time. New carpets
are in place, ceramic ile in the restroom areas a library area, the area are going to be especial. come and join us
in worshipping Him!

He Showed Up and Showed OffWhat can we say. Again, Jesus showed up and showed off at the service on Idlewild
this past Saturday. We had at least eight men and women give their heart to the Lord this week. We have a lady
who has opened up her house on Tuesday evenings for Bible Study. We had one young man that was sitting in a car, and
when he was approached by some of our men. He told them that he had to leave. It seemed that he just drove a few
hundred feet, and then came back and gave his heart to the Lord. Yes, people that are driving and walking by the service,
decided to come and sit with us, and then gave their heart to the Lord. God is doing something on Idlewild Street and
we want you to be a part of it. During the past sixteen weeks, there has been thirty eight people that have accepted
Jesus as their personal Savior. You talking about excitement, this is excitement. Can't wait till next week
to see how God shows up, and shows off!

Youth SundayWe had a great service yesterday.
God blessed us during Youth Sunday. We had good attendance, and the Youth Praise Team did a wonderful time
in leading us into worship. Then two of our young ladies, Shannon and Lauren had a special "drama".
Our Youth Pastor, Jason, served a wonderful meal to the congregation. God is to be praised. Thank God for thirty
eight teenagers being with us Friday night for "Fifth Quarter".

We are MovingYes we have moved. We packed up everything from our sanctuary and moved into
the Family Life Center for the next two months. We will be remodeling the sanctuary to make room for more seating capacity
and a larger stage area. The local church will still be debt free when this work is completed. Then the next phase
is to demolish a couple of classrooms and then build the North Education Wing which will house five classrooms, two offices,
a media room and a storage room. We will be going in debt for this enlargment by $200,000. To God be the Glory
for what He has done, and what He is doing! Welcome to the Williamson family who have attended two Sundays with us.

God showed Up and showed OffOutreach Ministries to the neighborhood with a Praise Service at the corner of Idelwild
and Jones Street. We do not know why, but God has called us to work with this area of Raleigh. We had thirty six
from Gold Valley take to this instersection, set up a tent, tables and a grill. We waited on the public serving hot
dogs until we ran out. Oh yes, we not only gave food to the public, but we had a boxful of Bibles that we passed out.
One young man received a Bible and throughout the evening kept clutching it, he held on to it all the way home. We were
able to set up our sound system and yhe Praise and Worship Team led us to the Lord in song. Different
speakers shared the greatness of God, and we were able to see eight people accept Jesus as their personal Savior. One
young lady was delivered fromt the demon of alcoholism. Then another lady not only accepted the Lord but she continued
praising God and the Lord graciously sanctified her and baptized her with the Holy Ghost. It was beautiful to watch
people of different walks of life come to the knowledge of the Lord. The pastor was talking to the local law enforcement
officers who were watching us. He found out that one of the kingpins for that area had been arrested just two days before
this outreach service, but he also found out that another person had been arrested just hours before the service. You
can't make me believe that God is not in control. He is in CONTROL. We praise the Lord for a beautiful time
in worship and taking back people that the devil had stolen. By the way, this make 20 days for one young man being clean
from alcohol and drugs. He was again at church this morning, and oh how God was blessing Him.

Wonderful ServiceWhat a time with the Lord this morning. We had twenty visitors from the Nursing
Home, Moore Square, the apartments and Idlewild Street. The Lord refreshed our hearts this morning. God
moved in and the Lord did a work over the congregation. We have one more week in the sanctuary, and we are entering
into a "Building Program". First phase will be renovation of the Sanctuary. Second Phase will be demolishing
the North Education Wing" and building a larger wing with more classrooms. God is doing great things. Yesterday,
we went on an Outreach visit to Moore Square and Idlewild Street and two men gave their heart to God. We are witnessing
to the homeless, alcoholics, drug addicts, homosexuals, transvestites and whoever esle will listen. During the past
nine weeks, we have had fourteen saved. One young man testified this morning that he has been clean from crack and alcohol
for ten days, and that his life has changed. He is living on the street, sharing the love of God to his friends.
God is doing awesome things. Praise the Lord!
